This large-scale commission draws on Kim’s practice of combining plastic casts of body parts and common objects with painted imagery generated from images and visual techniques used in popular media. Located in the Dorothy W. Levitt Lobby of the Peter Jay Sharp Building, the piece references a range of subject matter, from advertising for jeans to stainless steel finishes and depictions of bodies in motion in painting and photography.
